“The Dogvilles” were born about 2 years ago by sheer force of intimacy. It's that special kind of intimacy where you argue with the rest of the band about who will pay for the studio and who can go outside for a cigarette. But we manage. There used to be a "we haven't had any live performances" modest-yet-brave-realisation-of-the-truth kind of thing in this paragraph,but that's not true anymore(because we played several gigs so far. HA! IN YOUR FACE), so we'll just tell you that we are all childhood friends, slowly on our way of making something of the music we hear inside our heads. Finally, the band's shamelessly superalternative name originates from a street in Athens where everyone from the band has lived for some time (Skylitsi street).
